The Jackdaw® University Development Environment (JUDE v1.0) is a platform independent development environment aimed at the academic world. Jude is based on Jackdaw which facilitates the construction and maintenance of multi-agent systems both locally and across the networks by creating and executing agents which operate in a Jackdaw MAS. Jackdaw works to integrate existing services, enhance security and provide mechanisms for quickly creating and deploying new applications in the mobile world. Currently, Jude is used by number of leading universities for research projects in multi-agent technology across Europe.

The target release date for Jude v2.0 is December 2005. New features include server controls, tailored mental attitude processing, and simplified communication handling. Watch this space.
